At Newry Private Clinic, our consultants are covered by all major insurance companies in both Northern Ireland and the ROI and can offer high quality treatment to patients.

If you are paying for your treatment or procedure through private medical insurance, contact your insurance provider to check that your policy will cover your medical expense. If some of your costs are not covered by your provider, please let our staff know in advance of your initial appointment.

  GP Referral

  For most treatments, you will need to be referred by your GP. They may give you a referral letter. Alternatively, they may send the referral directly to the clinic via our website.

  Contact your insurer

  Once you receive your referral, contact your private insurance provider, explaining to them your condition to see if your policy is covered. We recommend you stay in contact with your insurer throughout your treatment if you have any doubts about what your policy covers.

  Book a consultation

  Contact us to arrange an appointment or if your GP has sent a letter directly to the clinic, one of our staff will contact you to organise an appointment

  Receive your test/diagnosis results

  After your initial appointment, your consultant will be in contact with you about your results and your next steps.

  Book your treatment

  Your consultant will guide you on your steps for your treatment. They may ask you to book in for another appointment in which case you can contact us by phone, email or through the, ‘Talk to us today,’ form.

  Your treatment

  Your treatment will continue to be coordinated by the consultant you visited at Newry Private Clinic.  Our administrative staff and expert consultants can offer you help and support as you need it, so don’t hesitate to contact us.
