• A review of recent blood test results relevant to your consultation
• A full discussion of current symptoms affecting dietary intake and quality of life
• A comprehensive dietary assessment
• Consideration of environmental and lifestyle factors impacting nutritional intake
• Education and guidance to support dietary changes
• Development of an individualised treatment plan with achievable goals
• If necessary, additional blood tests may be requested

Results and next steps

Your consultant will explain any findings and outline the next steps:

• If no further treatment is required, you will be discharged back to the care of your GP
• If further treatment is needed, all options, including recommended follow-ups and timescales, will be discussed
• Depending on the nature of your dietary concerns, a review appointment may be suggested. This will be arranged with you accordingly
