Making an appointment
Complete the, ‘Talk to us today,’ form to make an appointment, alternatively, call us and one of our friendly receptionists can make an appointment at a time that suits.
When you arrive for your scan, you will be asked to:
- Change into your gown and prepare for scan
- Some scans may require an empty bladder, so a bathroom visit may be requested by your consultant
The scan will last for approximately 20 minutes. You may be asked to fast beforehand, or come with a full bladder.
Continue your care
Your ultrasound report will be sent to your referring clinician within 5 working days. They should review the results and contact you with next steps of your treatment.
How to Pay
If you are a self-funded patient, you can pay your bill in person when you come for your appointment or contact us by phone at +44 28 3025 7708 where we can take payment over the phone prior to your visit. A scan takes approximately 20 minutes per area of your body and your consultant radiologist will give you instant feedback and a full written report will follow within 5 days.
We aim to schedule your appointment within 1 week of your referral reaching us. Scans can take place during the day or the evening, whichever suits you best.
Encountering a medical challenge can be a frightening and distressing experience.
